Harassment Prank Call 12

This has got to be the longest standing prank call. Spanning over years. He is still not over it. He still saves my number and had it on speed dial (presumably). When will idiots like this grow up? Seriously. He called twice on 16 March 2015, once on 22 February 2015, 21 January 2015, 20 January 2015, and 23 December 2014 respectively.

Got a call at around 9pm from 0199122966 on the 16 September 2013. The call went unanswered. The next day, 0199122966 called again at around 10am.What does this harasser not get? What does he want from me? When will he be thrown into jail?

Stop It

I have been getting a lot of calls from unknown numbers. After being harassed by 0199122966, I've resorted to ignoring these calls. But they just won't give up. They keep calling me repetitively. Telcos seem to not understand the meaning of "BLOCK". Blocking the number on the phone does not work. What is the purpose of blocking numbers when their calls still get through? Can lawyers out there enlighten me? Is there a law ( apart from injunction) that can be used to stop these kind of harassment? It's really annoying. The harassers just call day and night, as and when they please. Where's the customer's right? What do the telcos mean by they can't stop ( block) these harassers' number from calling us? What are you talking about? Is harassment legalised? In situations like these, if no action can be taken against the harassers, can telcos be penalised for not taking action against stopping such harassing calls? If action can be taken against cyber bullying, why can't there be anything done for phone " bullying"?

Hey I Just Met You

I posted a combo pic with Carly Rae Jepson saying "Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number..." And and old man replying "Who is this ? You have the wrong number". Then a guy messaged me saying "Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, here's my number xxxxxxxxxx". I don't know how to react to that.

Yesterday 8 July 2013, the irritating 0199122966 called again. I ignored it initially but the phone kept ringing. Hence, I answered and put it on loudspeaker. The man started talking. Then another man talked. Both men were talking away without a care in the world, in a language that I couldn't understand. A little worried that it might be some black magic chanting, I hung up. I was pretty sure the last time he called and I answered without speaking, I heard him mumbled in BM "Salah lagi ". This time though, I couldn't understand a word they were saying. Or perhaps he was playing several roles, talking to himself. Anyway, he is such a freak. Why on earth would he save a stranger's number, and make a stranger listen to his conversation. Seriously don't know how he got my number or what he wants. Why can't the telco do something about it? Does it have to end up in a serious crime only then will action be taken?

On 26 June 2013, the moron called again. It wasn't an accidental call. The phone rang till the telco answering machine message was activated. A.k.a " The number you have dialled, is currently unavailable or out of the coverage area. Please try your call again". After a couple of minutes, he called again. The moron seems to be having a great time. Pathetic fool.

                                                                                           On a lighter note, my friends have been teasing me. Saying that this harasser is a secret admirer of mine. Anyway, I came across this comic strip which kind of fits this situation. No, I didn't draw that. 

Prank Call 6

On Sunday, 16 June, the bugger called again. He called thrice. A friend of mine contacted me when I posted the predicament on the bugger on fb. We were "talking" when the bugger called continuously. So, I mentioned it to that friend. Without telling me beforehand, he dialled the bugger's number. But the phone was switched off. Shortly after that, the bugger called him back. Twice. Both times the bugger didn't utter a word. Merely breathing through the phone. My friend then told me about it. I'm glad to know that there is still someone who cares enough to help me. Out of the many people in my friend list, only one person reached out to help. Very touched by that. He could have just done what everyone else did. Which is do nothing. But he took the risk and called the bugger, who could possibly be a gigolo, psychopath, or a serial killer. Words could not express my gratitude. All I can say is thank you, for lending a hand in times of distress. On the bright side of thing, this bugger's sick prank got us talking again after so long.

So It Has Come To This

I contacted the telecommunications company to solve the prank call issue. I was told that they can't block incoming calls. Neither could they let us know who the culprit is. Their solution to the problem is that a police report be lodged. I wanted to solve it amicably, but it seems that I don't have any choice but to lodge a police report. Anyway, I posted what the telco told me on fb. Guess what, the culprit got frightened ( he/she knows that they're in deep shit now) and stopped calling. Proves that I was right about this person being in my friend list after all. Too late to be sorry now. Karma is going to hunt you down. You will have to own up to your doings. Joke's on you now.

Prank Call 5

After a short hiatus, I thought the prank calls has come to an end. He has not called in a while ( last call was on 27 May 2013). Yesterday (8 June 2013), he was back in action. At 3.35 pm, 019-9122966 called again. This time around, I picked up but remain silent. He mumbled something, which I tried to hear in which language this donkey is speaking, but it was quite soft. My guess is BM. Then he hung up. I don't know what he wants or what he's up to. But this whole prank calling thing is very irritating. He calls as and when he pleases throughout the day. So I made another post on FB. I mentioned that 019-9122966 called again. This time though, I picked up but remained silent. After a while he hung up. So how do you like a taste of your own medicine? Some friends of mine suggested that I lodge a police report against this guy for harassment. My guess is, it will not be feasible since he didn't threatened me but just call persistently. I am contemplating on complaining to maxis regarding this issue. Chances are, no action will be taken. Sometimes I just wish that I know someone influential and with power. When situations like this arise at least something could be done. I just wish that there's someone who cares about me. 😟

The greatest achievement for the day for this spastic person. This prank caller is definitely enjoying this. It isn't unintentional. Why did I say that? That's because the phone rang for two seconds only. Just grow up will you?

What is the word to describe this? Consistency? Persistence? Overly attached? Mentally unstable? Initially thought that it's 2 person. But it's actually or should I say possibly 3 person. Didn't know I blocked so many numbers. Anyway, it's getting annoying. Whether you are a telemarketer or just an irritating prank caller, you should know when to stop. Contemplating whether to get the telco to block it. Since blocking the number on the phone itself doesn't work. The calls still get through.

Today, received a call from another prank caller. This time around it is a blocked number. I think it's the  Malay lady using my friend's old number. What I don't get is, the number has been blocked. Why does the call still get through? Defeats the purpose of blocking the number isn't it? Yeah, if all the prank called would stop harassing me, that would be great.

There's this prank caller that has been calling my number. It has gone on for some time already. Each time I answer his call, he will remain silent then hang up, or hang up the moment I answer. He will call several times each time. Annoyed with this, I posted it on Facebook for the first time as a warning to this person. Why would I do that? Well, cause there's a possibility that the person is someone in my friend list. Why do I think so? Well, lets just put it, not everyone in the friend list is actually a friend. Namely former co-workers, friendnemies, etc. After the initial warning on fb, that prank caller was on mission again. So as per my first warning, I published the prank cal let's number. Yet, still unperturbed, this person kept calling. One day, I SMS that person asking who he is. He was afraid for a couple of days, then he called again. Hence, I answered the prank caller when he called again. That's how I found out it's a guy. I thought that there's a possibility that it's a girl. Since I do know quite a number of  bitches. I couldn't understand a word he said. He was saying two words maybe three repetitively. Either he's a Pokemon fan, or a retard, cause he sounded like a baby learning to speak. So I just hung up. I did mention it on fb. Today, he called again. So I just ignored it. Childish people are such nuisance.
